Hallo! Mijn naam is Manu, leuk je te ontmoeten.
I am a 20 year-old student from Madrid, Spain, moving to Enschede on February to study a minor in innovative educational approaches at Saxion University. I am so excited to go to the Netherlands that I have started learning some Dutch!
A little bit about me? I love animals and nature, I am into art, literature, cooking, I like going for walks, to the movies, to the theatre… and I am a ‘sucker’ for both culture and learning. I love meeting new people, trying new foods, learning about others’ traditions, hobbies, etc., but also sharing my own.
I do not really have expectations for living together. If you would like to make plans and have supper together as roommates, I will gladly make you some Spanish potato omelet (a sacred food for all Spaniards); if you prefer that each does their own thing, that is great, too. In the end, I just mean to be clean, tidy, respectful, and to have a nice atmosphere at home. I am not a smoker but I would not mind if anyone at the house was.
